AU-QUASAR is Alliance University’s future-facing undergraduate initiative built around quantum computing, artificial intelligence, robotics and cyber-physical systems.
Born in Rupeta Village in Madhya Pradesh on the 18th of May, 1948, Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot Ji has had an illustrious political career and is the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka since July 2021. Having completed his Bachelor of Arts from Vikram University, MP, he was awarded an honorary D. Litt. Degree by Dr B R Ambedkar University of Social Sciences, MP. He has served as the Cabinet Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India from May 2014 – May 2019 and May 2019 to July 2021 respectively. He was a special invitee member of NITI Aayog from January 2015 to July 2021. The Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka has also been a member of several advisory and consultative committees as part of his legislative and parliamentary responsibilities during his remarkable political career.
He has strived hard to stop the social and orthodox evils/rituals in the society through Balai Samaj and has remained active in the works of upliftment and welfare of the society since 1960. He has represented the country as part of important delegations visiting prominent foreign countries. Some of his recent visits include:
